I have not seen this before. This is not what I would associate with Beaton, but he does capture the era in all of his photographs, and he does that here. Marvelous quote from Bronte as well, and is perfect fit with the image, and another surprise. I love it.

My book HOW THEY DECORATED, for Rizzoli, was published in April of 2017. I have been an interior designer for over 30 years & have an abiding passion for the original, & history. Little Augury was born on New Year's Eve 2008.
