  3. Oh Karena! I am so envious! Not a drop here.....the worst drought since 1895! SOB!!
what lovely pictures.....can you believe 1948? I was born in 1947!! Chic beyond!!! They could have been taken yesterday with a pashmina and great driftwood!

Autumn......our slipcovers are changed......a bit different.....My husband did say...."I came home to a different house! It feels like fall around here"!!

It really does change the mood. and I have switched things around a bit....no big changes. It feels really wonderful to have a "fall" atmosphere.....

It is a very inexpensive way to change the seasons......everything lasts 3 times longer; and it sure beats having three houses!

    Atmosphere is important to me!

  6. Autumn has certainly caught us in our Summer wear here in Greece.
What a unexpected and sudden change in the weather.

  7. "Back now to autumn," he elsewhere wrote, "leaving the ended husk." Your posting captures both perspectives with absolutely ideal imagery. I think this is one of the finest sights I've seen online in some time; certainly the most beautiful.
