How grand and fabulous that Gloria Vanderbilt wrote your forward...really Gaye, I know how much you worked on this. YOUR THE TOP OF INSPIRATION for all who have pondered writing a book, for those who have taken the plunge and went for broke...wishing you great success!
I just wrote so quickly after reading GVs 'Introduction' and filled with excitement, that I wrote 'Forward' instead...but all the same, there is NO one else more GLAMOUROUS & ICONIC deserved who could've written your 'Intro' for posterity sake...she wandered THOSE rooms, amongst THOSE women, and met THOSE decorators of yesteryear...BLESS ALL THE LADIES XOXOX
Love it! It looks like a marvelous book, and I'm sure it will be snapped up quickly. You must be thrilled. Congratulations. Any book signings in the offing?
Marvelous! My copy arrived yesterday, and I (along with Boy Fenwick) spent time looking through it and admiring it. So far concentrating on the photos and illustrations (sublime), reading copy is next. Congratulations!
I have just received your exquisite book "How They Decorated". I must say - I'm totally impressed with how you've so beautifully orchestrated all those extraordinary women with their individual talents and styles-! I'm now immersed - slowly enjoying each Chapter - such Inspiration-! Bravo Gaye-!
