mama, Chanel did have several English lovers- Boy Capel (at an fairly young age) and the Duke of Westminster (later in life)- I think they must have left their good books there!
Mamacita- She also had many wheat motifs in her apartment- a sign of prosperity, this is most likely the reason. The English lover- maybe gave it to her because of that, I was attempting a little humor-Or maybe they said Oh God- a lot.
Mamacita- Chanel was Catholic, she had to have loads of superstition- the dear, the lions, the crosses, the wheat- She didn't take any chances. The club soda- she would have gotten into though.Times were much simpler then weren't they.
Holy Cow. ha ha
ReplyDeleteWhy would she have an English bible?

ReplyDeleteOMG WHEAT MOTIFS! That's what I'm doing wrong. Empty bottles of club soda and overdue library books probably aren't symbols of prosperity, are they?
