Book Cover

originally designed to protect books from  dust and light, curtains add to these bookcases though the simple design attracts the reader as well.

  1. In the library of the Frick (so proud they sell Jezebel there, by the way) there is a slim layer of moss green (I think)leather laid on top of all the books so they do not gather dust.

  4. Love that picture...the honeyed tones of the woods, that quirky desk, and the books. First draped bookcase for me! Looks like an oft folded and treasured pull-out...no? Trish

  5. Trish, yes I love everything about this picture, wish I could reference it, but I have no idea. This was one of the little things I gained from my friend Sandford along with some other prized tear outs and much knowledge and food for thought. Gaye
