Seymour Avigdor-responsible for the success of Angelo Donghia's fabric line launch in 1968- Avigdor filled his country house with patchwork and paisley- paisley shirred on the walls, covering the windows and swathing the flowerpots. It was good then and certainly good now.
All the fabrics in the Avigdor room are by Boussac de France and in 1969 were available for $7.50 to $8.25 a yard. (oh!) Those days gone forever.
Seymour Avigdor's fabrics and papers were launched by Donghia 1968 - called Vice Versa. They were a hit.
