When I first saw pictures of Edith Sitwell (in an anthology book of early Vanity Fairs that my mother owned) as a child, she terrified me. Then I grew up and began to think differently. That being said, this picture -- even though it's light-filled and she's dressed in white -- reminds me why I formed my first impression. Powerful. Happy Easter. Curtis Roberts
