Essentials from my collection, ONE more day

at One Kings Lane

One of my most favorite books- the essential The Glass of Fashion by Cecil Beaton. There is no other book like it. Looking through the  EYE of Beaton, glimpse the women that made fashion.

The glass of fashion and the mould of form,
Th' observ'd of all observers.

  2. Hi Gaye, I loved all of your items on One King's Lane--I wanted the terra cotta hands and just missed them by about two seconds. Great sale--but of course, we know that you have super interesting and slightly wacky taste. Thank you for all of your posts of the last years--especially the ones that send me off on a hunt to learn more. Mary
