Great visual juxtapositions, as always! I love the book covers.... Do you know how often I style with books and covers, little details most often not ever noticed, but critical to me in setting the tone and vibe of a room/set/photo. May have to add the Wolfe to my collection. The Coddington is already on order. X
Thea, I love book covers-and I've no doubt you would place them into your styling-at least to your eye and mine-that can Make it-and make it all the hard work worth while too.pgt
ashamed to admit that Look Homeward Angel is the only book I actually started and left unread. Intrigued by Pat Conroy intimating its strong influence on his writing...but did not have the intellectual endurance to finish it I suppose. Two kids running around didn't help. Your post reminds me perhaps it's time to revisit Mr. Wolfe where I left him in the mountains
Happy you are languishing... and in the mountains. Look Homeward Angel was one of my father's top picks. The CARVEN skirt, oh my... love! And, looking forward to Coddington's GRACE. Here's to summer + SEEing. ox

ReplyDeleteJennifer-yes, give it another go. I too have bailed on certain books and I find sometimes when I do revisit them- I am ready. pgt
