  1. Well! HELLO COLOR!!
    Welcome Back!!

Gorgeous! And don't tell me that natural pigments mined from the earth can be copied perfectly by synthetic ones! (I took three tests on the matter (on a project) and scored 100%!!)

Argue amongst yourselves.....I will never be convinced! Our lime-washed walls were "applied" 16 years ago; and actually; as they age..they become more beautiful!

We went to Roussillion in Provence and I bought out several stores "bags" of "pink ocher" pigment locally mined!

We put it the exterior plaster.....and mixed it with "lime" (also mined out of the ground); for all the interior walls and ceilings! It gets better every year!

I adore the "antique pigments"!! They were mined out of the ground....or something natural.......(really natural)
    Bravo again!!!

  3. Looking for something different this morning, amongst all the photos of chicks, eggs, small children, and found it here, of course. Always original and interesting. Thank you.

  4. I'm having a hard time figuring out which I enjoy more, but the David Hockney painting is edging out a colorful Queen Victoria and that green chair.

    Happy Easter, Gaye!

  5. That was a beautiful Hockney. I know so little about pigments; powdered minerals? I must go google it. I have pounded turquoise before to use in decorating my gourds.
