the new:

dreaming...a midsummer's night dream.

  1. Just want you to know that your blog is my very favorite. I don't know anyone else who knows about Beverly Nichols. I own all of his books and love to read and re-read them. They also look quite lovely on a side table. Thank you so much. p.s. when I try to email you it won't go through.

  2. Mimi- I am so sorry you are having trouble with the emails. Just got one through the site so- I am not sure what might be wrong. I have fiddled with settings, please try again if you'd like. I Love BN- the more I have read the more interesting he becomes. I love the garden books of course- I hope you will read the bio, if you havent, fascinating. la

  3. The Children's Book Cover is perfect. I can't tell if it's old from the '20's or if it's contemporary. Do you know?

  4. Elizabeth- here is the cover info-

  5. Are you enjoying it? I have it on my list.

  6. Jezebel- I absolutely am loving it and based on your musings- you will be in heaven (figuratively) G.

so glad you have found the angle of repose.

  7. Thank you (Dragonfly woman brooch by Rene Lalique,c.Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, photograph Calouste Gulbenkian Museum) I still keep coming back to look at the book cover. The color is so beautiful and the broach is unbelievable.
