  2. I just finished watching a documentary on Bess of Hardwick, and I can't get those huge expanses of window out of my mind. Imagine how modern that house design must have appeared! ...Mark

  3. I recently read my mother's copy of Les Temps de Cartier, which covers the house's history of timepieces from circa the 1870s until the late 1980s. You seem like the type to own a copy, Gaye; I digested mine as best as possible
