standing for so much always and particularly this month. NINA SIMONE was born feb 21st, this Black History Month- an unwavering advocate for her people, a revolutionary, a singer of love songs and for the Egyptian people's unflagging thirst for freedom to choose. The lady is perfect representative for Patti Smith's rhythm.

  6. hello Patricia That was an amzing post I first heard Nina sing that sad song in my early tnes and it had a profound effect on me.Sge was an amzing and inspirational person in so many ways Im glad that tribute was eventually paid to her
    .Her music is beyond words
