I love your blog........you are so superior! I saw the top of the hat.......and I guessed......."Nancy Lancaster"she was the best!can you talk "An Aesthete's Lament" to just put his past posts back up?Who cares that that Italian fraud copied him......no one believed the Italian fake!I have a whole tale about going to Nancy Lancaster's house for lunch.....with the new owners.........thanks to Sotheby's really thanks to Jessica. and the ducks came into the house (wild mallards) I have emulated that....mine......came up the stairs to the terrace....not yet into the house!!!penelope
OH dear Lord!As I scrolled down..the top of the hat........just the top corner (I am totally bragging) I knew it was Nancy. And it was!Totally brilliant post! These women knew just what to do!I am new to blogdom........I have added your blog.....(I hope!) I really don't know exactly how to express my fandom! I hope I got it right! You certainly are one of my very favorite blogs......and I mean to say that! How funny I ended up in a "tabloid???" in the UK! The "Daily Mail"!YIKES!!!PEnelopeagain.......LOVE YOUR posts....and love your blog!!Most unusual.........very key to success! stay the way you are!!
And I love your posts! I guessed Nancy Lancaster by the beginning or her hat!Brilliant of you to spread the brilliance of her! Bravo! Great blogs like yours.......I call "graduate school" to my assistants! I majored in English Literature.....the real requirement........for being a decorator.....(some call the same exact job: interior designer)........is the passion for it.....Serious passion....dont have it? don't go there! That i the truth! If you can come home......and see dying plants.......and lackluster furniture.....and curtains that are not great. And you can live there and it is OK??Wrong profession! Pick another one! It takes passion!Oprah said it beautifuly on the very last day of her last three days!find your passion! And that is your job. Find your passion.......and then work toward it. If you are indifferent in your job;......quit it. and then find something you are really enthusiastic about!Find your passion!!!!!!!!And then go for it!!!Penny
Where would we be without Nancy Lancaster? Have a super Memorial Day! Mary
