Oh, that is a beautiful photo.
Oh yes, the dog as large as oneself.http://pimpmybricks.wordpress.com/
I have a dog as large as me (Jones, huge poodle)--wouldn't have it any other way. The military service dogs are true heroes--saving many lives and are faithful to a fault. Thanks goodness policy has changed and the service dogs are sent home with their human buddies. Thanks, Mary
Lovely. I grew up with a dog as large as myself. Now the squad includes two very small dogs, 10 cats, 2 birds and 2 fish, which is substantially equivalent, I suppose. Happy July 4th to you! Curtis
One of my favorite quotes- and poets. Carlo was her great companion. This is a family photograph of my cousin's daughter-wish her safe. pgt
OMIGOD....I missed the folded pony-tail in the back of the helmet. God Bless them. I so wish them safe. What a magnificent picture.Did everyone know there was a dog with those navy seals who took out bin laden? The dog helped locate him. (little news because they have to be protected!)I just flew to see my grandaughter at camp in the San Juan Islands...washington state......I saw soldiers......(now always in camoflage) and I said....."THANK YOU " to every one.......I saw more than two dozen in two airports.....they teared up. Did not see other people doing it.....but I was quite loud and kept walking! Hope others saw and copied.Brave brave people. Dogs are heroes too! Thank God they can take them home.......
Penelope, yes and a blonde by nature so far-and I add a beauty- From a long line of dog lovers too.We don't value them enough. They set politics aside and do what they are asked. I can only hope that companion brings some comfort to them. I wonder what Emily Dickinson would say to a woman in uniform, just imagine. pgt
