Oh how I envy you! That first chill in the air. That crispness at either end of the day which eventually meets in the middle. Have a wonderful Autumn, PGT. May there be more days of it reality than in retrospect (though I know what she means - in retrospect it all looks very much like your second picture, though in reality there are sometimes sodden leaves where they oughtn't to be).
