having a dress up moment - the HOVEY Sisters

If ever there were two ladies that fit the bill for the new-Between the Wars Era- fashion revival-
it is these two.

Not having officially met them-it is safe to say the Hovey Sisters were Born to it.

When reading blogs there is a familiarity that's established. I know the Hoveys, along with countless others who tune into their Blog pages. Terrifically individualistic describes them both- something I think quite a challenge to achieve today when inundated with books on achieving a certain this or that Personal style.

In other words- for getting your Personal style- here is a road map.

Here's how to get the Look.

  2. dear, How this reminds me of the clothes my older sisters wore, the ones I paraded around in when they were away. My love of paper dolls also comes to mind and yours too.

  3. The WWII and post eras are absolutely back, as a fashion watcher I am loving it. These selections are just so sophisticated and feminine. I am surprised from the looks at some of the designers, that's a good thing. What a witty, delightful look at fashion, I can see the ladies pictured in all these and from the commentary they agree, even better. A

  4. Hollister and Porter, It was a lark and you 2 are dolls. I think you should create some fantastical Paper Dolls of you two. Vintage look and some quirky accessories- hats of ram's head, pith helmets, etc.etc. I loved loved paper dolls as B Cushwa, my mother said in her comment. G.

    thank you for the fun.
