  1. Sister Parish reminds Michael Smith about true comfort? Night-night.

    p.s.
I with you on patchwork, especially crazy quilting with all those yummy embroidery stitches. I don't embroider very well but I have a crazy quilt project on my to-do list. Love the use of all those delicious fabrics going all over the place.

  2. la-there's a store in Downtown Durham that sells a number of textiles made by African artisans. We purchased a quilt from them which is batiked on one side and the other side is assembled from complimentary patches of satin. We'll probably have to break it out this evening, since they're calling for sleet.

  5. Patchwork and crazy quilts are both art forms. I love the arrangement of pattern, where the random colors fall to and the mix of color, Looks great withe neutrals and here with formal silks.

  6. la-It's on Chapel Hill Street across from the Bakery (In the old Herald-Sun building), heading toward the Book Ex, if my memory is correct-anyway it's in that general vicinity, or was, at least, before the meltdown.
