ReplyDeleteI think that the witty touches and detailing make the Mizrahi collection come alive; without them, it is rather in step with his peers. Some of it is engagingly pretty and graceful, however, which does count for much

Barima- thank you, that is what interests me about fashion, I appreciate your interest in it too. I am in complete agreement- you put it well. IM has always Been a fav of mine. I have to say- some of the things I purchased of his 20 years ago, I've held on to. Something about his things-he can take a simple American thing and revamp it-he is the quintessential American sportswear designer and so glad he is back on the runway.I love British fashion so look forward to it.Gaye

ReplyDeleteHels- the artist is Leyendecker- click on the link of his name referenced at the end of the post, he illustrated and made famous the Arrow Man, which is olny the tip of the iceberg. pgt
