& there is nothing like tartan for the holidays, I can just see Carolina Herrera in this, She has great style-a long skirt and tailored shirt can not be beat in the evening.

  1. I just found out I have a party to attend after Christmas. What I wouldn't do for that skirt! Just gorgeous!

  2. I know-fantastic isn't it, though the idea still is great with tailored white shirt and lack skirt.

  5. I would love to see the real skirt and you know this one must have rustled too,as you say.

  6. I would duel, murder, and maim for that skirt. But I really prefer it with that black tall-neck skinny-torso turtleneck [the top must be played tight/close so it won't pick a fight with the visual mass below], sleeves pushed up to 4/5 length.

Is that THE Phyllis Newman in line ahead of me? I love that woman.

  7. Just makes Philip Johnson's warning about Frank Lloyd Wright's cinderblock walls all the more poignant. People who live in glass houses give prettier parties!

Your eye is unerring; and your writing divine!

I think that is the biggest compliment I can give!! If I think of a bigger one; I will add it!!
